The Children’s Room of the Woburn Public Library will sponsor a spooky (and slightly crazy) Halloween Party featuring children’s author Carolyn Crimi, author of “Boris and Bella,” and the newly published “Where’s My Mummy?”   Students in elementary grades K-5 are invited to listen to her tales, try their hand at being mummies, doing some monster dancing, and enjoying creepy treats afterwards.  The program will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30,  3:30—4:30 pm, in the first floor Study Hall. The Woburn Public Library Children's Room is holding its 2008 summer reading adventure, "Wild Reads" during the months of June, July and August. This is nothing unusual, but this year the Library is sponsoring Heifer International's "Read to Feed" program in conjunction with "Wild Reads," so that children in Woburn understand world hunger and what they can do to help eliminate it.  read more »

On Sunday, December 2, 2007, at 2:PM, the Friends of the Woburn Public Library will present their annual Holiday Program at the Library. This year's featured entertainment is the Performance Choir from the Joyce Middle School under the direction of Marilyn Drew.
