Pack 502 is planning a family skate night on Friday, April 30th from 6:30-8:30pm at the O'Brien Rink.
The pack will be collecting items to send to the troops. Last year they sent off 22 care packages.
O'Brien Rink is located at 55 Locust St, in Woburn.

One of Woburn's most beloved events, "A Taste of Spring" is coming back for it's 13th year! NuPath's (formerly known as CMARC) fundraiser will be held this year on April 28th from 5:30 to 8:00 at the Holiday Inn Select in Woburn.
This year's event is the biggest ever -- with 25 participating food purveyors and an outstanding array of Silent Auction items such as Red Sox tickets, Theatre tickets, Artwork, and much more.
Mayor Galvin and Congressman Edward Markey have arranged a meeting at Woburn City Hall in the City Council Chambers on Thursday, April 15th, from 7pm to 9pm to address recent flood damages.
The Mayor, some members of Markey's staff, and officials from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will be on hand to talk about government assistance programs that are available to people in Woburn and the surrounding areas.

The purpose of the Guild is to promote an interest in the arts, to bring out the talent within it's members and the community, and to be recognized as a cultural group to whom the city of Woburn can point to with pride. Membership is open throughout the year to anyone interested in the arts and related fields. Students, professionals, and Sunday painters have always been welcome.
The Middlesex Conservation District will be holding its annual Spring Plant Sale on April 23 (3-6 pm) and April 24 (8am - noon) at the 4H Fairgrounds, 51 South Chelmsford Rd, Westford, MA. All items may be ordered in advance through March 31, or you may simply come and shop at the sale.
Items include tree and shrub seedlings, perennials, fruits, groundcovers and garden supplies (rain barrels, compost bins, cow manure, etc). They specialize in native plants and starter sizes.
YMCAs all across the country are celebrating Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA on Saturday April 17th, from 4-6pm.
ReMax Leading Edge and Carol McDonald are bringing their hot air balloon for balloon rides! Hot Air Balloon Rides will cost $5 and the proceeds will help fund scholarships for YMCA Summer Camp.
