Join the Children's Dyslexia Center for their 17th Annual Walk for Dyslexia on Saturday, October 20th to raise money for children with dyslexia! The Children's Dyslexia Center aims to promote high quality education and language services for children with dyslexia while also advancing scientific knowledge through support of clinical research. 



Flu season is upon us, so be sure to visit our annual free clinic! The citywide flu shot clinic is open to any resident ages 18 and over and will run from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Senior Center on Thursday, October 11th; seniors over the age of 65 can receive the high dose flu vaccine on that date. There will be a second clinic on October 17th from 4-6:00 p.m. at the Joyce Middle School Library and is open to anyone ages 5 and over. Be sure to bring your health insurance card and wear short sleeves!

Join The Woburn Lion's Club as they host their annual fall cookout on Saturday, October 13th! A delicious four-course meal will be served to guests at 7:00 p.m. following a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m.. For more information about the menu, click on the pdf file attached below. The Woburn Community Educational Founcation Inc. is proud to present their annual Women's Forum and Purse Raffle! This event will feature keynote speaker Candy O'Terry, who is best known for her work on radio station Magic 106.7, and is also the President and Co-Founder of Women in Boston Media & Entertainment. As Halloween approaches, the Woburn Public Library is hosting a murder mystery play and dinner featuring local celebrities from Woburn! RSVP for a three course dinner, cash bar and an interactive investigation in which you can interrogate suspects, examine clues and identify the culprit! This event will be held on Friday, November 2 from 6:00-11:00 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel on 2 Forbes Road, Woburn.

Moo Fest will be held on Saturday, September 29th from 2:30-7:00 p.m. at the McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn. Bands Squires of Soul and DJ Jeremy Long will perform live music while attendees can enjoy free food and play cornhole and giant jenga. Participate in "Cow Pie Bingo" for a chance to win $5,000! Attendance is free, so bring friends and family!

Welcome Night Flyer

Welcome Night will be held Wednesday, September 26th in the Woburn Memorial High School cafeteria from 6:30-8:00 p.m.. It is a chance for new families to connect with community organizations and learn more about the programs and services available to them. There will also be information about the Ambasadors Program, in which families interested in learning about community resources will be matched up with another family. Translators will be available for those who feel more comfortable speaking in Spanish or Portuguese. See you there!
