Despite much of the day being rather shaky in terms of weather, by late afternoon the rain had stopped and the sun even broke through! So the show with Joey Vellucci Band went on, and it was another good one. We were especially pleased to get this one in because Friday's sponsor, Woburn Mall/KGI Properties, had their shows last summer rained out. This explains Mall Manger Lori Medeiros' smile as she joins SCI's Mike Sances at the concert (photo below).

Did you miss WorldFest, Woburn's first ever multicultural festival? Now you can watch an hour of footage from this historic event, thanks to Woburn High School student Priynk Patel.

Horn Pond is one of our gems in Woburn, of course. But undiscovered it's not. Unless its pouring rain or 10 degrees, you can usually expect a lot of company walking around the pond (good for social capital, right?!?). Or unless it's 4:30 a.m.

In a decade of performing his original music around the country, Kevin So has earned the respect of his fellow musicians and won over members of the press and radio (the Boston Globe, WFUV, many more) and built up a substantial fan base coast to coast. So’s most recent album, “A Brighter Day” features stellar pop music that reveals an important young musician capable of communicating the emotion behind his songs through flawless vocal technique and guitar playing of grace and imagination.
