We'd like people who may be interested in participating to complete a short survey to help us firm up plans for the training. The current plan is to hold the 1st training the morning of Saturday, Aug. 14 (if that works for enough people), focusing on an overview of the major social media tools, and covering pros/cons and tips for each of them.

The North Suburban YMCA has once again teamed up with Project Bread to offer free lunches to children this summer at the Green Street Pool.
Beginning the week of June 28, the lunches are available from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Fridays (except July 5) for the duration of the summer. The lunch consists of a protein, a fruit, a vegetable, and a milk everyday, but the specific lunches vary. The lunches are available for all children under 18, as well as anyone categorized as “special needs”. The lunches need to be eaten onsite, but families are welcome to join them (i.e. the parents can accompany the kids, though you have to be under 18 for the lunches).

Summer is here and the library is going green! From crafts to video games, animals to prizes, you never know what you’ll find at the library this summer.
Students entering grades kindergarten through 5 are invited to sign up online at www.readsinMA.org/woburn. They are excited to have their program completely computerized! If you don’t have a computer at home, don’t worry—they have computers you can use at the library.
