Local Ways to Support Boston Marathon Victims

After the tragic events that happened at the Boston Marathon, communities have been rallying together to do something to help those who were affected by the bombing. Here are a couple of ways you can support those who were impacted by the attack:

The Restaurant in Woburn is offering 3 ways that you can help the Norden Brothers, Paul and JP, who were badly injured by the bombings. Up until this Wednesday, April 24th, The Restaurant will be accepting cash donations, accepting cash donations for the Boston "Strong" Red Sox ticket raffle drawing, and will be donating 30% of all food sales from the Family Casual Menu. The Red Sox ticket raffle will take place on April 24th at 7:30 p.m. For more information on how The Restaurant is helping out, please click here.

The Hair Cuttery (99 Commerce Way, Woburn) is hosting a cut-a-thon on Sunday, April 28th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. to support the victims and families affected by the Marathon bombings. Haircuts will be $10 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the One Fund Boston. For more information on how the Hair Cuttery is helping out, please click here.

The son of longtime Cummings Properties staff member Ed Fucarile was badly injured in the blast. Cummings Properties has donated $100,000 to the One Fund Boston in behalf of the victim, Marc Fucarile, and they are asking for the communities support as well. The Stoneham Police Department have established the Marc Fucarile Fund. To donate, please send your donations to Stoneham Credit Union, 40 Pine Street, Stoneham, MA 02180 or donate online at HelpMarcFucarile.com.
