All candidates are encouraged to register for the site, as in the coming weeks site users will be asked to submit their questions for the candidates online. Click here to visit the blog!  Please note that Ward 6 and 7 are the only Wards with primaries on Tuesday.

Want the best breakfast in town? I have been in Woburn since 1978 and the best breakfast in town is and always has been obtained at Cousins downtown. They open early and close just after lunch. They use to be a 7 day a week operation but even Betty and Dave need a day off so they are no longer open on Sunday. This is a family owned and operated restaurant with everyone from sons/ daughters/ cousins/ neices/ nephews and grand kids waiting on you. If you stop in say hello to Billy or Betty as they are the only two that do the cooking! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! PM

I've started to see a few trees change colors already by the pond, and Labor Day is just around the cornder. With that, of course, it's back to school time next week. Did you have a good summer? Molly's Misfits played their Celtic music to a big crowd last Friday night. People of all ages enjoyed the show on this beautiful evening, and a number of young fiddlers and Irish step dancers accompanied the band. This concert was sponsored by Sean P. Coakley.

Many thanks to all of the local businesses that sponsored the concerts this summer. For a full listing of concerts this summer and their sponsors, visit http://sciwoburn.org/programs/concerts.

Did you happen to catch the rainbow over Woburn Center last Wednesday night? I only had my camera phone with me so couldn't truly do it justice. There was a wild wind and rainstorm, followed by this full rainbow This photo was taken from Library Field following a dramatic Woburn Rotary softball victory. We played right through the storm.
